Born in Portogruaro, soprano Alessia Camarin is one of the most promising young talents of her generation. She emerged onto the opera scene by winning the 76th edition of the AsLiCo International Opera Competition in Como, which gave her the opportunity to debut in the role of Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff, a production by Opera Domani touring some of Italy’s leading opera houses, including Teatro Regio in Parma, Sferisterio in Macerata, Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna, as well as Teatro Sociale in Como and other theatres of Opera Lombardia.

Having graduated with honours from the ‘B. Marcello’ Conservatory in Venice under the guidance of Cristina Baggio, Alessia Camarin stands out for her vocal brilliance and natural stage presence.

Among the recognitions she has received, in addition to AsLiCo, she has won several prizes at the Agorá Lyric Competition 2026, including the Young Artists’ Prize; she received First Prize and the special “G. Masetti” prize at the “Voce d’Angelo” Singing Competition organised by the Circolo Culturale Parma Lirica in Parma, and she won the “Raina Kabaivanska” scholarship awarded by New Bulgarian University, which allows her to study with Raina Kabaivanska.

Other highlights of her young career include her debut in the role of the Countess of Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro at Daegu Opera House in South Korea in October 2025; also in autumn 2025, a Gala Concert at Bulgarian National Opera in Sofia, conducted by Maestro Nayden Todorov; Michele Dall’Ongaro’s Bach Haus in the role of Anna Magdalena Bach at Teatro Malibran in Venice, J.S. Bach’s Kaffeekantate in the role of Lischen at Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, and Il Trovatore (Ines) in concert with Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano at the CARIPLO Auditorium.

LATEST PERFORMANCES: Le nozze di Figaro at Daegu Opera House (South Korea); Il trovatore with Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano; Falstaff. Gli allegri giocattoli di Windsor (an adaptation of Giuseppe Verdi’s Falstaff) in Como, Cremona, Bergamo, Brescia, Parma, Macerata and Ravenna.
